Re: [APML]: Power in the field?

I used a small 12 volt battery I got for about $25 (it is for riding lawn
mowers). This worked fine as long as I didn't try and go all night. Using
my autoguider and my LX200 it would die about midnight. Now I'm lugging
around a 95 amp-hour deep cycle battery. It lasts all night and then some
running my scope, autoguider, and laptop. Of course it weighs a ton and is
the size of a full sized car battery.
