Hi, Steve:
It sounds like your prism is right-way-around, ie, vertical side on the
left (scope) side of the OAG cube, hypotenuse toward the right (camera)
side of the cube. You may be right about the camera being too close
to the body of the OAG, but there were no instructions with my OAG
regarding use with vs without the tube (the OAG was part of the
416XT CCD camera kit). Maybe you should try a few photos with the
reticle LED turned off, unplugged, whatever, to douse that source of
light. You won't be able to guide, of course, but it might be the
best way to track down the source of the light. Worth a few frames
of film anyway.
