RE: [APML] Epson 4870 scanner (Was Wide field Packman nebula)

Good review (thanks) and good link. This will be something to keep in
mind if I do change scanners.

For those who do use the Microtek and the 4870, do you use the included
scanner software (Silverfast, I believe), or something else?

IIRC, Tony Hallas had said something about this software many months
ago. The latest version was quite powerful and a vast improvement over
earlier versions and I wonder if that statement can be substantiated by
anyone.
