I really like that comment, not too often that I get to hear it,
"nicely processed". 8-)
Thanks for all your comments.
Bradley, I don't think there was any more noticeable structure in the
earlier renditions. However, this is an interesting question. The frame
right before this one was an exposure of the same area that I had to
abort after about 5 minutes because I remembered (after I came into the
house) that I had forgotten to rotate the camera. The funny thing is
that I can almost swear that some of that red dust that cuts across M82
was visible in that one. I never looked at it with a magnifier, but it
makes me wonder if this film is red sensitive in the early stages and
then maybe it gets 'covered' while the film is collecting light for the
next 3 1/2 hours.
I think that the next time I shoot this area I will take some shorter
exposures to see if I can catch that.
I also think this film is a good candidate for hypering. On the shorter
exposers I have seen, I have been quite surprised at what it picked up.
Unlike Supra though, it seems to slow down quite a bit after the
initial response. Anyone got any hypering results?
Alan
