Thanks for the heads up. Thes ebay offers are tempting...

But can anyone confirm whether slide films like Kodak E200 and Provia 
400F perform ok for astrophotography long (say 1+ years) after their 
expiry dates? What happens to the emulsion past expiry - an overall 
desensitizing, strong colour shifts, poorer reciprocity, higher base fog?

Or is the price for outdate film this low only because of mild effects, 
which although minor (from our point of view) would still be 
objectionable to professionals doing "everyday" photography?
