RE: [APML] Need help with this M81-M82 shot.

Alan, I usually reclean the negative with a cotton swab and photo flo if I
get a finger print, and then rescan. Will save you tons of work in
processing.

Subject: [APML] Need help with this M81-M82 shot.

When I opened this up, I was trying to figure out what weird kind of
diffraction pattern I had. After a minute, I finally realized that it's
a fingerprint.

I have 2 questions; is there a function in PS7 that will get rid of
this? Or should I just take it in to have it cleaned and re-scan?

And; At this point, no data has been clipped, and I have done a little
levels, curves and an USM. What are the best processing steps to do
next?

FYI: it's 225 minutes on SHQ200, scanned raw at 4000dpi

Thanks all,
Alan
