Thanks for the comments.
Stuart, there's no need for a re-scan. I make a duplicate of
everything, but it's mostly a question of finding time to do it again.
Right now I'm struggling with a couple galaxy shots that are driving me
nuts. Can someone tell me why galaxy fields are so difficult to
process?
I do notice that histograms tend to be clipped on the left by the time
I'm done. Obviously a technique I need to work on.
