Yes Wade, that is one of the reasons I bought this place. I normally
enjoy mag. 6-7 stars at the zenith.

You are certainly fortunate to be so close to a
dark sky. I have to
drive about 80 miles to get to a very, very dark
sky or about 20 miles
to get to a very dark site. If I really don't
want to drive, I can
image from my backyard with 4-5 magnitude stars
visible at the zenith,
depending on transparency.
