Thanks Ray! Yes, that's why I said I'm not totally happy with
it. It just doesn't have much punch, especially around the Double
Cluster. Thanks for the tip. I'll work on it more soon.

Excellent framing, Gary. One of my favourite sky regions
to shoot, with or without a bright comet passing through!
I think
you could stretch the contrast a bit more... There's scope to darken the
background a little without making it a clipped black. And your brightest
stars are not quite fully white - they're rather bright grey - so I
suspect they were already clipped at the bright end before you subtracted
the gradient? If you fixed that, it would make the final image really
sparkle.
