Hey Joe,
I agree. The Cocoon needs to have the reds brightened, and actually the
BG looks OK to me. Keep in mind who is telling you this, but you can
bring out more reds several ways; color balance, curves,
hue/saturation, even levels.
OTOH, NGC 1499 looks terrific for a 30 minute shot, and IIRC, that is
fairly dim. Excellent job on both.
