Hey Carlos,
That is a really good looking shot! Nicely processed. I like just as it is.

Subject: [APML] Orion 50mm Wide Field Preview

Hi all

Here is a preview of a wide field shot I'm processing. It is almost ready, I want to enhance some features with wavelets, but haven't the time to do that yet.

~800x600, 170kb

~1200x1800, 700kb

The technical data:

Camera: Canon F1
Lens: Canon nFD 50mm f/1.4 at f/4.0
Film: Fuji Provia 400F, pushed 2 steps
Exposure Time: 3x 20 minutes, median combined.
Guiding: Manual
Mount: Celestron AS-CG5.
Date: december, 2003
Location: La Silla Observatory's airdrome, Chile.

Scanned with a Polaroid SS35 at 2700dpi.
Frames aligned with "R", a command line registering aplication made by Juan Conejero using PixInsight's PCL.
Rest of processing made in PixInsight STD.

I hope you enjoy it.

Regards,

Carlos Milovic F.
