Michael,
I have had good results with the Lumicon Deep Sky filter and E200 film.
My original approach was to shoot E200 with the filter and use the
results as a luminous channel with another shot on E200 without the
filter as an alternative to using Tech Pan for this purpose. I later
discovered that blending these 2 shots using the screen function in
PhotoShop actually worked better.
