Re: [APML] APML Voting Site

I only joined this list recently after being on several other lists for
about a year. Those other lists all had a mix of film and digital. When
someone mentioned that this was the premier list on film astrophotography,
I couldn't join fast enough. Allowing other media will only make this list
like the others, and therefore much less useful to people looking for film
information.

As for the "low number of posts," I have no idea what you're talking
about. I've only rarely seen any days with single digit post numbers. So
there aren't hundreds of posts a day - so what? That means that each post
is more likely to get read.

It will be easy to tell when APML has outlived it's usefulness - that will
be when the number of posts is zero. And at that point, it will not matter
since the (former) members will have moved on and will not care
anymore. As long as there is one person still posting, the list has value.
