But APML is not THE resource on astroimaging.
As I mentioned earlier, the real experts on DSLR / CMOS astroimaging are on
the digital_astro list. They are not on APML.
The real experts on CCD are not on APML, they are on the CCD list.
How about I do this: I go off APML and found a Film-only list. Would you
then insist on following me there and taking a vote to change the rules so
the discussion there would include CCD and CMOS and DSLR imaging? Or could
you possibly live with the fact that there is a film-only list somewhere?
If you can live with that, then why don't you just let the APML be the
film-only list, since that is what it is now, and what it was when you
joined it and knew what it's rules where when you joined?
You say you didn't bring it up to re-hash old stuff that's been said in
this very same discussion several times before, and yet that is exactly
what you are doing. It's honestly quite irritating.
