Hi, Jason,
Faaaar out. Yup, I know of the JOBO equipment. Good stuff. You really opened
my eyes with this idea. It would be fun to do that again...
Thanks!
Greg

Yeah it doesn't seem to require a lot of chemicals (though I haven't used it
yet to know for sure). It's a JOBO CPP-2 with lift, and I got it with
pretty much everything I need except for chemicals. This is kind of a
"semi-automatic" processor. It might be a little overkill, but JOBO has a
good solid reputation and the equipment included drums to do anywhere from a
single roll up to some crazy number like 20 rolls at once. It also does
medium format and (I think) large format processing, as well as prints. Do
a google search on it and you'll find some good info. There's also lots of
film processors and other darkroom equipment for sale on eBay that make me
drool whenever I look. Look under Cameras & Photos -> Film Processing &
Darkroom -> Processing Equipment
I also found a website giving directions to make your own 2 ft x 7 ft
darkroom sink out of a single sheet of oak plywood. I've already done that
and it came out really nice. Gets me excited whenever I walk in that room,
but my wife insists I finish the rest of the molding & trim and get the
ductwork and fan installed for ventilation before we can play with the film
stuff. :(
