Ummm, Chris? So far, from what I've seen, the overwhelming response has been
in favor of keeping this list film only. If someone wants to discuss ccd
imaging, why does it appear to be a problem doing so on the other list?
However, even discounting that...the only person who has the right to call
for a vote to change the guidelines for this list is Gene, and I do believe
he has already spoken on the subject. It seems to me that if you really want
a list that is wide open to anyone, whether ccd/cmos/webcam/film, then why
not just start your own? You've already seen how fast and easy it is to get
a group started on Yahoo (for example).
Please do not misunderstand my intent. I am not telling, or suggesting,
anyone leave this list.
However, this has gone on long enough. I'm done. :-)
Bradley
