Stunning composition John! I think you blended them very well - I had to 
look hard to distinguish where the two original frames would have been. 
I love what you're doing with that medium format + short focal lenght 
apo combination.

Dom - comet Ikeya-Seki was visible in 1965. (6 years before I was 
born...so my first comet was Halley at age 14).

I've only seen comet Macholz once! We have a huge high pressure system 
sitting over and west of Ireland - the trouble is, it is the really 
cloudy type of high, which happens rarely...
