Nicely done John! I was hoping to get a similar shot but Mother
Nature didn't want to cooperate. Did you use PS for the composite?

Hi everyone,
I finally composited a shot of Comet
Machholz taken on 1/30/05 as it
passed near IC1805/48 with a mosaic I did
a few months earlier if same
IC. The major difficulty was getting a
seamless blend from two different
films and exposure times. The earlier
mosaic was on E200 and 90 min. and
did not incluse most of the area where
the comet was. The comet shotr
was a 30min exposure on Provia 400. All
images ttaken with a Pentax 6x7
and FSQ-106.
This mosaic is only
