This is probably an OK suggestion, but this usually means loading only at 
night.
In most houses/apartments, there is rarely a place that is completely dark 
during the daytime. Closets with blankets under the door won't cut it.

There are a number of excellent changing 'tents' on the photographic market.
They resemble miniature backpacking tents that use curved, shock-corded 
aluminum
rods to hold up the tent. They have double walls and are light tight. They 
come in various sizes for various applications. Film crews like IMAX use them to 
load their film magazines on location. They are somewhat expensive, $130-250 
but worth the cost.
