it
is $6.00 to make a gallon. Is a gallon enough to do 1 roll? I've been
reading Robert Reeves' "Wide Field Astrophotography" so I see there are a few
things needed for a little darkroom. I just want to process it, not print,
so I
might check it out and give it a try. Thanks again.

Gary:
All you need to process 35mm film in D-19 is:
1. Processing tank with reel, has to be loaded in complete darkness
2. D-19
3. Stop Bath, ( an acetic acid based weak acid) or water
4. Fixer, used to render film no longer light sensitive
5. Appropriate sized containers for above chemistry
6. PhotoFlo, a wetting agent used to allow film to dry spot free
7. Thermometer, simple but needs to read accurately in the 70 degree area
8. Film clips or clothespins for hanging film during drying
10. Funnel, used for pouring chemicals into containers
11. Chem Wipes, lintless tissues used to 'squeegee' the film before hanging
to dry
12. Timer, used to time the process, (you can use your watch)
13. A totally dark place to load the tank ( or a dark changing bag or
changing tent)

This is all very inexpensive when compared to most astronomy and imaging
equipment.
