Hi Jim,

The cops and border patrol kept me occupied for about
45 mins before the shot...all was setup and i was
afraid my hardware was going to freeze for guiding.
Fortunatley it didnt happen this time:)

The R2 filter is a promaster.....
I emailed them quite some time ago with an automated
response telling me Id be better off asking the guys
at the camera store where I bought it from.

It looks to me like its about equivelant to a #23 red
filter.

This believe it or not has been the only clear sky
period in two months here due to lake effect so I
tried to take advantage of it. I do not like shooting
under the moon, but Ill do what I have to do to kill
midwinter boredom.
