Hi Bobby,

On my Epson 820 head cleaning deposits ink into a little sponge and 
also into some nearby plastic parts. I have to clean this out after a 
few head cleanings. I had to clean up the printer assembly once when 
ink got everywhere. Maybe something like this is your problem.
