[APML] guidescope questions need help spending my money

ive read that MaximDL CCD will now guide with
a web-cam or ccd camera,
as i have both,
i was wondering if any of you are doing this,

ive been saving my money for a used ST4 or V,
but if this option is being used sucsesfully,
im wondering if i should go in this direction,

id apriciate any comments,

ive got a G-11,mount
 and will have a skywalker sevo in a month or so,
trying to get all my ducks in a row for the short imaging season
coming soon to a sky near here somewhere,
