Re: [APML] A mount of dilemma
This would be the Orion SVD:
http://www.telescope.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=338&itemType
=PRODUCT&iMainCat=6&iSubCat=24&iProductID=338
It was the only mount I could afford at the time and was ok for learning and
starting out in astrophotography for the price range.
I didnt know whether I would like astrophoography that much so I stayed with
this model...now that I know there is no turning back, I need something more
kind and that costs more.
I remember reading that comic and laughing around the time of the last
leonid shower.
You know that cloud bank you see in that pic in front of the cool
event?...thats how it looked that night just before the shower hit...it was
all too good that a front came through and gave clear skies and excellent
transparency:)
