RE: [APML] Question on Lenses
Thanks to John and John,
I rather expected the recommendation to keep the 1.8 so I decided to
post the 1.4 and a few other lenses on ebay today.
Thanks,
Tom

Subject: [APML] Question on Lenses
Hello group,
I have a question. I have two lenses for my OM1, and I need to sell
one. Trouble is, I don't know which one to sell.
One is a truly superb (visual inspection only) 1.4 and one is a very
slightly inferior 1.8 (both late serial numbers). The only thing wrong
with the 1.8 is a couple of tiny specks, no evidence of fungus - or even
of use, for that matter.
I wish I could do some tests, but the weather is just too bad for me.
I doubt I would ever operate either one wide open, both probably f2.8 or
f3.5.
So, which would you keep?
Thanks,
Tom
