Hello Doug,
I own an EQ6 mount since 1year.
I use it with a 540mm focal lenght refractor and have no probleme for
100min astrophotography (the 2 refractors weight 10kg).
Sure, it is a short focal lenght but the guiding is made manually with a
celestron 80mm rich field refractor, with a 180x power, and there is no
probleme.
Mine has a +-15" PE but others mounts have very bad PE (+-60").
Also, it is possible to add the PEC option (300$)
To finish, I have the same opinion than Aike: You can not compare this
very CHEAP mount with G11, A-P,.......better but more expensive.
They do not play in the same court.
