Well, sort of, but you are limited to prime focus or small
piggyback work. If you want to use that Newt you're
really going to want a decent mount. A G-11 give you
the best "bang for the buck". It is one of the cheapest
photographic mounts out there but can carry a decent
load and tracks fairly well. No, you aren't getting
an AP, MI, or Tak, but you are paying quite a bit
less too.
