Re: [APML] a WSP horse...

Hello,

While at the WSP I had the chance to try imaging with my good friend Bill Williams from sea level through humidity that at times seemed thick enough to cut with a knife... this was unusual for this time of year down there... El Nino?

Under conditions like this I would have thought it impossible to image with anything... even a CCD... but Bill cranked up the dew zappers, found the Horsehead with his AP 6" f/7, and we proceded to collect data with an ST-10E.

Now I see how Rob does it... a CCD can shoot through almost anything! All you need is good seeing (which is in abundance down in the Keys...).

Note the nice detail in the nose... not bad for a 6" refractor...

     Have a good one,
