Alan you might keep your eyes open on astromart for a used
non go-to Mountain Instruments MI-250.

The owner Larry Meyers is incredibly helpful and committed to support for
the equipment he produces.
He helped me free of charge with a few issues I had with my MI-250
mount--purchased used with no warrantee expected.
