As I was typing my post about a mount, I was thinking that I may well
be describing the GM-8. Both of you have re-affirmed that. I will be
interested in other opinions, especially info about that beefy new
Orion mount and maybe input about some Celestron mounts. I just don't
know much about this subject as most of my knowledge (?) and experience
is confined to the LX200 series.
