Re: [APML] Shuttle Columbia lost
Frank,
I trust in this circumstance, we will be forgiven the off-topic.
I have forwarded your thoughts and feelings to ISS and told them they are
typical of those from the astrophoto community.
And at this point, I also want to plea to those reading this in the north
Texas/Lousianna area that if you know of anyone hoarding Columbia debris,
attempting to sell Columbia debris, or attempting to sell fake Columbia
debris, please contact the FBI and other agencies. There are over 1000
listing on Ebay already. Each listing is a potential felony in action. The
fact that these bastard ghouls are trying to profit from this disaster, and
tamper with evidence in an ongoing NTSB accident investigation (a crime in
itself), just turns my stomach. If you know anyone doing this, turn the
freaks in so they can cool their jets in the slammer.

Rob,
You are right. I was devastated when I heard the news.
My thoughts and prayers are on the families and loved ones of those brave
seven.
If Mr. Reeves is still capable of sending a message to the ISS I would
humbly request that he let Dr. Pedit and the others know they are also in
our thoughts and prayers for a safe return. When I heard the news all I
could think about was if Don was on the return trip for this flight. I'm
saddened by the great loss, but having read emails from someone up there on
this list made this kind of a close connection for me.
Carpe Noctem, Frank
