[APML] Looking for an opinion on a scanner and printer

I just wanted to get an opinion on whether the
HP Photosmart S20 scanner and the
HP DeskJet 960 printer would be adequate
for quality astrophotos (assuming good technique
in shooting and processing the images)
I plan to shoot with both negative film and slides.
I'm trying to decide what to buy.
