A piece of wood dowel, slightly smaller diameter than the bettery,
and slighty shorter. Two prices of thin metal - even tin foil in a real
crunch, and two wires soldered to a battery connector. one piece of metal
at each end of the dowel. Glue or tack on. You might have to use a
thinnner dowel or score one side of the dowel to allow room to run up a
small wire.
Soldier a wire to each end. use two different colorus so you can
tell positive and negative polarities apart. Solder the wire ont eh
udnerside, the part of th metal that is next tohe end of the wood dowel,
not he part that touches the camera.
So far, you have a placebo battery, for lack of better words.
make sure you have the right voltage and be ready to hook up to a
battery hold - something you buy t Radio Shack for example.
. Now, it can be difficult to screw the battery cover into place
and not cop opff the wires, so see fi you can get a new or used battery
cover form a juked camera or a repair shiop that has spare part.
You need to drill a hole in the middle of the battery cover to run
your wires through.
         Drill a good sized hole.
now, place in your "wood battery", make sure you ahve polarity
correct and double check the volttage agian, run wires through the battery
cover, screw on battery cover, hook up wires to bigger battery, and away
you go.
good luck
