Unfortunately the camera I am using for my astro-shooting (olympus OM-10) requires batteries to open the shutter.  Does anyone know of a way to replace the two small button batteries in the camera with a homemade insert with contacts leading to a rechargeable or AC power supply?  Also, thanks to those who replied concerning counterweights.  I am still hoping to hear from others (perhaps simple plans for a custom/homemade weight-system).
