Re: [APML] Horsehead, M45 & M42
Hi Philipp,
thanks for taking a look!

Well, IMO the polar finder scope of the EQ6 is very hard to adjust, the presets
do not seem to be very precise - I guess in some details the mounts low price
has it's effects.....
I didn't really experience any severe dec backlash - while guiding manually it
was very easy to correct slight movements of the guidestar.
I am quite sure that an autoguider will work with the EQ6, I am planning to get
a Boxdorfer MTS3 soon (it has PEC function, autoguider port and programmable
guiding speed) - my ST4 is waiting for it's first go :-))))
Being convinced that my EQ6 is one of the better ones, I hope that my ST4 will
work with the periodic error of the EQ6 (some folks say they have about 60
arcseconds PE!!!)

I have used my Polaroid Sprintscan and was not happy about the artefacts, I
guess as soon as my image processing techniques in PS improove, I can get rid of
these!
BTW, very nice page of yours aswell, I really like the design!
Clear Skies and best regards,
Aike
