well, what should I say I was so happy about this first result. As you know I
only roughly aligned the scope and I knew that it may cause slightly trailed
star images. Next time I'll spend more time on alignment proceedures!
I didn't really darken the picture a lot in PS, almost all the information that
is on the original slide can be seen in the picture! Furthermore I did not color
correct anything!
I've decided to call the sky conditions fair, as at that night (as you know),
the sky looked quite hazy. Of course the location might be one of the best in
Germany, can't imagine how the skies could be if conditions were perfect.
I really hope that you'll post your results from that night soon, can't wait to
see what you have achieved with the 5" Borg monster!
