Hi Aike,

that's an incredible image for a first go at photography with your
equipment, never having manually guided such a long focal length. I don't
really think the curved stars at the top are a problem. The detail in the
nebula looks good, it's just too bad you didn't get more of the reflection
nebula. I wouldn't have darkened the background quite that much to maybe
retain some more of the faint nebular structures, but what's my 2 cents
worth here? ;-)

But what's this about "fair" conditions? I'd say they were good at the
least! You have to see everything relatively!!! :-)
