A new STV is expensive, but used ST-4's can be had on astromart for
under $600.  It would cost at least that much for chiropractic services
after months of manual guiding.  Also, I find there are much better uses
of my time than freezing my eyelashes to the eyepiece at 7 degrees F for
8 hours.  The ST-4 works well with Losmandy mounts.
