RE: [APML] Cone Area Composite ollaboration

Jim, the combination of the two films looks very impressive, although not
much in the way of blue nebulosity around S mon, with all that red, who
cares!

Subject: [APML] Cone Area Composite ollaboration

Jon Kolb and I have collaborated on a composite of the Cone Nebula area.
It's a composite of Ektachrome and TP using a hybrid of Rob Gendler's LLRGB.
This one is a LLAB where the two images are combined into a LAB image and
then the resulting image is converted to RGB and the TP image is again
combined in an LRGB. Links to the original images are on the page.

Can't think of any better nomenclature than LLAB, any suggestions?

Comments for improvement also appreciated.
