Hey Dick:
I like your Astrophoto's Page. When you use
Astrostack, do you use BMP images or an AVI file? Have
you had any success stacking STV planetary images
(Jupiter and Saturn) in order to enhance detail? I am
learning to use the STV with my LX200 f/10 and want to
improve detail in my planetary pix. (See Jupiter at
link below). I want to try recording on VHS from the
STV and running the tape through an image grabber to
select and stack some images. I bought a Belkin USB
VideoBus II and am waiting for a clear night.
