RE: [APML] Film for Comet Ikeya-Zhang

Chris, the NHG Ive used always gave very green results, and I abandoned it
because of that. I has high contrast however.

Subject: [APML] Film for Comet Ikeya-Zhang

I'm planning on shooting this comet during the first half of March when its
at its brightest. The only down side is that the comet is going to be quite
low in the western sky after twilight. There looks to be about a 30min max
window of dark sky while still being high enough above the horizon to shoot.
I was thinking of shooting un-hypered Fuji NHG-II 800. Has anyone used this
film on comets? If so, what were the results? Are there any other fast
films that would work? I think Matt used Provia 400 on a comet a few months
ago. Any others?

Chris
