RE: [APML] Printers

Stan, Michael, whoever, ...

I somewhat related question. Does anyone have/know about the quality,
stability, and color matching of the various refill kits vs the original
inks? I'm currently using an HP-970, and the inks aren't cheap!

Rich

Hello Stan Richard:
Probably the only thing I dislike about Epson printers is the volume
and cost of their inks. Can the Epson Stylus 820 be used with refillable
none Epson inks or is it like some other printers that do not allow you to
use non-brand name (refillable) inks? How long does a B&W cartridge last
(relative to HP standard printers like my HP722)? I will be using the
printer primarily for text with only an occasional color print. How does
the 820 compare in speed to other standard printers?

Thanks.
