I agree with Scott here. For the money the Epson 1280 can’t be beat especially in combination with the new archival papers. I am routinely, and happily shocked at the results I get with this printer. Like every new piece of equipment it takes a little time to know it’s strengths and weaknesses and you burn up some ink getting acquainted, but I can’t imagine you’ll be sorry for jumping on the 1280 wagon.

I'm in the market for a new photo/text printer, any recommendations?
