I think it's pretty close. Another one to look at is Neat Image. Neat
Image is just out of beta and it's only $30. You select an area of the
background and it analyzes the noise. It has a lot of specific controls
after that.
The problem with SGBNR is that it has three parameters to adjust and it's
mostly trial and error.
I'd never buy Grain Surgery at the price they want now, not with SGRNR for
free and Neat Image for just a couple of bucks.
