[APML] SGBNR vs Grain Surgery

Dear Group,

For the past month or so I have been using SGBNR:

for decreasing grain and noise in my astrophotos. It's free (at least
for the moment) and seems to work very well. There have been about 3
upgrades in the software since I came across it last month so the
authors seem to be motivated to "making it right." Every bug I have
found and reported was fixed within a day and right now the software
seems very stable.

Can anyone out there compare the functionality, results, ease of use,
etc., of SGBNR to Grain Surgery? Grain Surgery seems pretty pricey
for what it does but maybe I need to know more...

Thanks, Bill
