[APML] new m-78 using Gendler's LRGB technique
I've posted a new M78 I've done after finishing the color data last night. I
used a Tec pan exposure for the L channel with help on the hypering from Jim
Janusz (Thanks Jim!). It's not up to the bar set by some recent CCD images
but it's much better than my previous film attempt.
This image was done by the technique mentioned by Rob Gendler recently where
the first LRGB is used with some modifications as a new color image to
re-combine with the L image. It can be seen here:
http://www.koyote.com/users/bobm/m78.htm
two hypered LE 400 60 min exposures with a single 60 min TP exposure.
It looks too red but from seeing the CCD images this may be the way it is
supposed to look.
Comments welcome.
