Chris,
I take mild exception to your
statement that anyone with enough money can create great astroimages... I think
you will find that the best CCD imagers will have a prior history of film
experience... without some previous concept of what a good photo looks like, you
won't be able to emulate that by simpling pushing some buttons or reading a few
articles on the web. Ignorance may be bliss... but like anything in life, you
have to pay your dues if you want to be good at something.
