Re: [APML] OT: Wind?

Southern California Wind?
I can't help adding I was out last night traveling around 45 mph while
being hit by a 100 mph literally 8 foot by 12 foot tumbleweed coming in the
opposite direction. Put a nice long visually dented crease in my otherwise
cherry-bodied Honda Accord's hood. $500 deductible on my auto insurance, no
replacement ST-4 for me this month. Grrrr.... X*&%$.....! Damned
tumbleweed must have had a big trunk attached.

I know, I know, off topic but I just had to vent! I did at least look up
at the sky through all the dust last night though, and honestly my usual
astro-camera actually did happen to be in the car, and it's not a CCD. I
hope that qualifies. <g> I will be quiet now, knowing next to nothing about
astrophotography as usual.
