Re: [APML] PPF film

Hi Mike -
I would stay away from the PPF.  My PPF is totally trashed and it has been in air tight containers in the refrigerator since purchase.  Mine are dated 7/2000.
With RG200, E200 and HQ100, PPF is just too grainy.  If you want to shoot an ISO400+ film, you would be better off going with the Fuji 800 or LE400 if you can find it.  My PJ400 is still going strong but I only have a few rolls left.

Subject: [APML] PPF film

Hi List,

If you havent noticed, there a guy selling PPF film on astromart. I inquired and he has 105 rolls unhypered with an expiration date in 2000. He wants $6.00 per roll. The film has been in cold storage since he bought it from a camera dealer which it was in cold storage there as well.
After all the talk about everyones PPF looking like its at the end of its day...I'm wondering if I/we should stay away from anyone selling this film.

Any thoughts ?
