There are many kinds of OAG's. Practically everyone AND their brother has
one for sale. If you check out the Taurus TrackerIII or the Lumicon GEG, you
might make a tough job a bit easier. I can't speak for the GEG cause I've
never used one. I do use the TT III. And I can say that after a proper
initial set-up, it will make things easier.

Simply said, it has helical adjustments on the viewing and guiding ports so
those ports are parfocal with the camera film plane. The unit is versatile
and a sanity-saver. You focus through a regular EP. When the focus is right
in the EP, it's right in the guiding port and at the film plane.
